I’m looking to access some pin signals on a mounted MCU, but it’s a ball-mounted or soldered one. Is there a method to “hack” underneath it to access these signals? Is there any typical home-lab setups for this purpose?
Not that I know of.
I would say it’s extremely challenging. Removing and successfully resoldering a soldered or ball-mounted MCU is already quite difficult.

If, by some huge stretch, this is just a plan for debugging instead of an already-built circuit, then maybe you could use a breakout board, or even just use through-hole vias and the other side as test points. That might be worth remembering for future reference, in case there are only a few pins you’re likely to need.
