The world’s smallest fully functioning PCB was created in 2015 by researchers at the University of Michigan. It measured just 0.04 square millimeters and was made for a medical implantable device. This tiny PCB could fit on the head of a pin and demonstrated the remarkable miniaturization capabilities of modern electronics.
