Sierra Circuits’ robotic arm to detect PCBA errors and accelerate production time

The robotic optical inspection arm is an automated machine that takes images of assembled PCBs and checks for defects during the FQA (Final Quality Assurance) stage. When a human eye can take up to 15 minutes to screen a board and its soldered components, this machine scans entire circuits in less than one minute. Fast, but also reliable, the arm detects 100% of PCBA errors, allowing us to ship zero-defect PCB assemblies to our customers.
