I am still wondering about the Maximum Via Stub Length Calculator. Is this calculates the maximum length of the via stub at which the signal quality is maintained ? If we have via stub within the maximum length calculated by the tool, would there be no reflection and we are fine to have them and leave them without back drill ?

**Yes**. Tool calculates the maximum length of the via stub at which the signal quality is maintained

**Yes**. If we have via stub within the maximum length calculated by the tool, there will be reflection but it will not have significant signal degradation so you can leave them without back drill.
